When someone thinks of Luther College, a Lutheran Norwegian school, I’m sure they think of a lot of white, blonde haired, and blue eyed students. Well, let me tell you that there is a lot more diversity on campus than one might think. The other night there was a cultural night in Marty’s. This night was dedicated to the country of South Africa and all of the international students from that country helped to organize it and put it on. The most surprising part of the night was seeing the amount students involved and the amount of diversity on campus. Like most I thought of Luther as a school full of white kids, and even though there are quite a few Caucasians there is also a nice amount of diversity on campus. This is refreshing to know that as a school we are so accepting, because as a student body I feel we accept all walks of life.
