Christmas in the Union 2010
December 8, 2010
Christmas in the Union is an annual event sponsored by the Luther College Student Activities Council Special Events Committee, the Luther Book Shop and Luther Dining Services.
All Luther students, staff and faculty along with the greater Decorah community was invited to take part in the fun. From 4:30-6:30 p.m., everyone enjoyed cookie decorating, hot chocolate, cider, watching Elf, crafts, various singing groups and pictures with Santa by the fireplace.
The Book Shop hosted a gingerbread house contest. The creative entries could use any materials to create a miniature holiday-themed house.
New this year was an Ugly Christmas Sweater contest. All Luther students were invited to enter. Grand prize was a $75 gift card. Everyone had a great time watching or participating in the event.
