On Thursday, October 6, 2011, Luther Book Shop, along with college book stores across the country, participated in the first annual National Student Day. The goal of the event was to celebrate and promote social responsibility by college students.

As a way to say “thank you” to these students, the Book Shop conducted Wii Bowling and Corn Hole Toss contests, awarded prizes from drawings for volunteer hours and served popcorn all day.
