Dr. Odd S Lovoll gave a presentation on how Norwegians immigrants connected to the old country through newspapers. Questions and answers followed.  Dr. Lovoll also signed copies of his new book, "Norwegian Newspapers in America: Connecting Norway and the New Land."

In his book, the author takes a broad look at the Norwegian language press, editors, writers and publishers who helped guide Norwegian immigrants as they became Norwegian-Americans.
