Jim Haemker, director of the Luther Book Shop and Union Services and a '72 Luther alumnus, retired on July 31, 2011 after 39 years of dedicated service to the college. A retirement reception was held on Tuesday, July 19 from  2 - 4 p.m. in the Addams Lounge, located on the second floor of the Dahl Centennial Union, Luther campus.

Luther and Decorah community members joined for refreshments and conversation  in bidding Jim a fond farewell.
