A "Royal" Celebration, to honor the wedding of Prince William and Princess Catherine, was held in the Book Shop on April 29, 2011. Attendees enjoyed special discounts on "royal" blue clothing and emblematic items, with a bonus discount given to those "dressed for the occasion." An "American style" high tea was served in the afternoon, consisting of iced tea and fancy animal cookies.
