The Launching Luther Leaders (L3) program is designed to provide a wide variety of opportunities for students to learn about leadership theories and practices while developing leadership skills. Each year, L3 selects recipients of three awards that are given for outstanding leadership and service by Luther students and student groups. These awards are presented at an annual year-end Student Leadership and Service Banquet.
Four leadership awards will be presented for the following categories:
Please note: The top 3 in each category will be invited to and recognized at the Launching Luther Leaders Awards Banquet on Sunday, May 6th.
Outstanding Student Organization - awarded to the student group or
organization that made significant contributions to enhancing campus life, or
significant contributions to a local, national, or global community.
Outstanding Event or Activity - awarded to an event, program or activity
identified as being particularly meritorious.
Outstanding Service Project - awarded for a specific service project that
made significant contributions to improve the lives and well-being of a local,
national or global community.
Outstanding Student Leader - awarded to a student who demonstrated
exceptional leadership on behalf of his or her group or organization at Luther.
