President’s Council and Legacy Trust Scholarship recognition events

Friday-Sunday, May 3-5, 2013

Each year Luther College recognizes members of the President’s Council and Legacy Trust with a special weekend campus event in the spring. Legacy Trust Scholarship donors and their student recipients are honored at a Saturday luncheon, and President’s Council donors are recognized at dinner Saturday evening. Donors may attend information sessions Saturday afternoon and enjoy various student-ensemble performances Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, or watch the Luther Norse compete.

7:30 p.m. Luther College Opera performance with Chamber Orchestra –Mozart’s Cosi fan tutte, CFL

7:30 p.m. Luther College Theatre performance – The Secret in the Wings, Jewel Theatre, Center for the Arts

Saturday, May 5

11:00 a.m.-4:45 a.m.  Check-in, Main Lounge, Dahl Centennial Union

11:30 a.m.  Legacy Trust Scholarship reception, Peace Dining Room

12:00 p.m.  Legacy Trust luncheon, Peace Dining Room

2:15 p.m.  Session 1: Becoming a Sustainable Community-Mott Borlaug Rooms

3:15 p.m.  Session 2: Student Research presentations--Mott Borlaug Rooms and Nobel Room

5:00 p.m.  President’s Council recognition reception, Peace Dining Room

5:30 p.m. President's Council recognition dinner, Peace Dining Room
