Dr. Allen Hightower, Professor of Music and Director of Choral Studies at Luther College is the conductor of the Nordic Choir. He is also Artistic Director for Christmas at Luther and teaches classes in choral methods and conducting.
Dr. Hightower's background includes six years as a high school choral director, ten years as Director of Choral Activities at Sam Houston State University, and a lifetime as a church musician. His choirs have performed before the 2007 National ACDA conference in Miami, the 2010 Southwestern ACDA in Denver, and before the Texas Music Educators Association conventions in 1996, 2003, 2006, and 2010.
Dr. Sandra Peter, Assistant Professor of Music at Luther College, conducts Cathedral Choir (100 sophomores, mixed voices) and Aurora (100 first-year women). She also teaches introductory and advanced choral conducting.
Dr. Peter has led All-State and honor choirs throughout the United States and has been invited to speak at national meetings of both the National Collegiate Choral Organization and the American Choral Directors Association. Her choirs have performed at several regional choral conventions. Cathedral Choir served as the demonstration choir for Eric Whitacre's sessions at the 2010 NC-ACDA conference in Minneapolis. Aurora has been selected to perform during the 2012 NC-ACDA in Madison, Wisconsin.

Dr. Andrew Last, Assistant Professor of Music at Luther College, conducts Collegiate Chorale (90 juniors and seniors, mixed voices) and the Norsemen (90 first-year men).
