Relaxation Workshop
When: Tuesday, April 10, 9:40-10:30 am
Where: Hovde Lounge, Preus Library
In this session, a SASC tutor will lead you through a variety of relaxation techniques to improve focus and relieve tension from your day-to-day activities. Before we head into finals preparation, take a break and join us for a stress-free hour of relief from your daily routine. Attendance is free. Pre-registration is required. Limit 15.
Learn to Love the PPST

Education majors: Does the thought of taking the PPST stress you out? Do you know you should be studying but don't know where to start? Let an experienced education major guide you through the process. This event is open to all education majors planning to take the PPST in the near future.
Writing Strategies Workshop

Where: Hovde Lounge, Preus Library
Intended for any student wishing to improve their research and writing skills. Covers formal, informal, and research writing.

Organic Chemistry Walk-in Sessions in SASC
When: Monday nights from 6-7pm, February 6-May 7, 2012
Where: 100 Preus Library (ICN Room)
Starting spring semester, students enrolled in Chemistry 242 will be encouraged to attend a walk-in tutoring session staffed by two experienced SASC tutors. The walk-in sessions offer the benefit of working with other students who have similar questions and can help to enhance your understanding of the material. Attendance will be taken at all sessions. We ask that you come prepared with specific questions and as much work as possible completed ahead of time.
If you only need occasional assistance, the walk-in option may be best for you. However, students requesting one-on-one assistance will still be placed with an individual tutor as available. Students may attend a combination of individual tutoring and walk-in tutoring as needed.
