It was a dominating performance tonight in the Regents Center as Luther defeated the defending Iowa Conference champions Loras College 3-0. The Norse posted an attack percentage of .356, while recording set victories of 25-16, 25-20 and 25-17.

Hannah Walker and Kelsey Sorensen led all attackers with 17 and 11 kills respectively. Sophia Brown was next with eight, while Hannah Wilson and Logan Hjerleid both tallied four. Wilson also led the team with two block solos and four block assists. Amanda Dietel dished out 36 assists.

The victory snapped a four-match losing streak to the Duhawks that dated back to 2008. The win was also Luther's eighth in a row increasing its overall record to 14-6, 1-2 in the Iowa Conference. Loras fell to 3-2 in league play, 6-11 overall.

Luther returns to action on Friday night with it will host St. Ben's at 7:00 p.m. This match will be video streamed.
