Women's Swimming and Diving - Grinnell College

The women's swimming and diving team rolled to a 194-105 victory over Grinnell College in the Luther pool this afternoon. The Norse swept the top three places in four events, the top four places in the 50 freestyle, and the top two places in the 200 and 500 freestyle en route to the victory.

The 400 medley relay team of Erin Mykleby, Stephanie Drewes, Amelia Ladd and Erin Connolly got things started establishing a pool record, with a first place time of 4:10.77. The foursome broke the old mark of 4:11.07 set on Jan. 8, 2011.

Individual multiple first place finishes were posted by Mykleby in the 100 and 200 backstroke, Drewes in the 100 and 200 breaststroke, and Connolly in the 50 and 100 freestyle.

Paige Lenoch (200 fly), Mary Kathryn Maher (1,000 freestyle), Kelli Golinghorst (200 freestyle) and Beth Reed (500 freestyle) also recorded first place finishes.

The victory increased Luther's dual meet record to 3-1.

The Norse will host Simpson College at 1:00 p.m. on Nov. 19
