Luther was defeated by UW-La Crosse 67-47 this evening in La Crosse. Trailing 33-28 at halftime, the Norse shot 24 percent in the second frame and were outscored 34-19. The Norse outrebounded the Eagles 43-36, but turned the ball over 25 times that led to 23 points.

Rachel Stenhaug led the Norse with 13 points. Taylor Johnson chipped in eight, while Logan Hjerleid and Sarah Loberg were both credited with six.

The loss drops Luther's overall record to 3-8, while La Crosse improved to 9-2.

Luther will return to action on Saturday, Dec. 31 when it will host nationally ranked Calvin College at 1:00 p.m.
