Women's Tennis - U of Chicago

The Luther women’s tennis team opened a challenging weekend at the Midwest Invite by facing off with Chicago, the top ranked team in the Central Region.  The Maroons controlled play in doubles and also went on to sweep the six singles matches for a 9-0 victory.

Katy Lindstrom had the closest match of the day for the Norse, fighting to 4-4 in the second set before dropping a (6-2, 6-4) decision to Maggie Schumann.  Cami Czech (No. 1) and Katie Howe (No. 5) each won three games in the first set of their respective matches.
