Recyclers

Redeemable Collection

No matter the weather conditions, recyclers make daily rounds to residence halls and academic building to collect recyclables, redeemables, and compost.

Recyclables, such as paper, plastic, metal, and carboard, are dropped off at a Winneshiek County Recycling collection site by facilities.  Redeemables are kept in the garage of the sustainability house until sorted and collected.  Collected compost is added to the Luther compost pile, to later be used as fertilizer for the Luther Gardens.
