Glow Disc Golf Tournament
GLOW DISC GOLF TOURNAMENT
Friday, October 30th 2009 from 7:00pm-10:00pm
Fundraiser to Purchase Garbage Baskets for Luther's Disc Golf Course.
In conjuction with the Glow Out, an Environmental Philosophy class group project will be holding a Glow Out Disc Golf Tournament as a fundraiser to buy garbage baskets for Luther's disc golf course. The cost to enter the tournament is only $5.
If you don't have a light for your disc, you can purchase one for a discounted rate of $5 before the tournament begins. We will also have around 10 discs with lights on them that people can borrow for the tournament at no additional cost (if lost, you must pay to replace).
The Check-in table will be between Ylvi and Towers near the sand volleyball courts. A mandatory players meeting will take place at 7:30pm near the check-in table. For those needing to purchase lights for their discs, you must make arrangements to pick them up in advance from Dan Bellrichard in Valders 372E or at 7:00pm the night of at the check-in table.
How to Participate
Step 1 - Register and sign a blackout pledge
Registration for the Glow Out Disc Golf Tournament Fundraiser will only be accepted in advance via this online registration form.

Before heading outside, turn off lights and unplug everything from the electrical outlets in your room. See if you can get your RAs to turn off floor hall and bathroom lights as well.

All participants must stop by the check-in table to get your starting hole and group assignment for the tournament. There is a mandatory players meeting starting at 7:30pm near the check-in table. The check-in table will have luminaries identifying it.
If you need to purchase a light and haven't done so already, come to the check-in table at 7:00pm to get your light and mount it to your disc.

Each group will play a 9-hole first round. After your round, return your scorecard to the check-in table. Scores will be tallied and second round starting holes and group assignments will be assigned based off of first round scores.
