Dr. Carol Hinds, former Vice-President and Provost of Mount St. Mary's University, Emmitsburg, MD will be on campus to work with Luther College department heads and junior faculty who see themselves assuming such leadership.

Amy Richards and Jennifer Baumgardner have been working together on issues of interest to young women since they met as 22 year olds working for Ms. Magazine. In 2000 they published Manifesta: Young Women, Feminism, and the Future, widely recognized as an insightful and accessible history and evaluation of the women’s movement in the United States.

Dr. Joseph Ellul of Malta is familiar to Luther students studying in Malta where he teaches the section on Islam in the "Religions of the Mediterranean" course. In addition to his teaching responsibilities he serves as priest to one of Malta's poorest parishes.

Nis Kildegaard, free lance writer, has 30 years experience in the field of journalism. Carolyn Kildegaard, a certified Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist, where she on faculty teaching a variety of classes.

Dr. Farid Esack is currently the Besl Chair in Ethics, Religion and Society at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Rev. Heidi Neumark currently serves as pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church in Manhattan in New York City. Prior she was pastor of Transfiguration Lutheran Church in the South Bronx. These experiences in ministry led her to write a book published by Beacon Press, Breathing Space: A Spiritual Journey in the South Bronx.

Paul Heltne is a Luther graduate of 1962 in classics and chemistry. He currently is President Emeritus of the Chicago Academy of Sciences and is a Senior Research Scholar at the Center for Humans and Nature.
