Patrick Cabello Hansel is a pastor and poet from Minneapolis. He and his wife, Luisa Cabello Hansel, have served dual-language churches for over 25 years in inner-city multicultural communities in the South Bronx, Philadelphia, and now in Minneapolis. They are currently co-pastors of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in the Phillips neighborhood. In these settings they have developed artistic programs for youth and adults--including theater projects, photography exhibitions, and workshops in poetry, puppetry, and drama--as a way to express hope and transform communities. Rev. Cabello Hansel is a graduate of St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN and Christ Seminary-Seminex in Chicago.
